It is yet again confirmed that the only constant is change. As of January 2013, Adytum Cellars’ Woodinville Tasting Room (place of beginning) has closed its doors. The little farm in Woodinville has been the labor of love for both myself and Annie. This is the place where it all started. For over 12 years we have been stewards to the small parcel of land on the skirt of King County Agricultural Production District. It is here that we not only grew our own food but also the honey, fruits and herbs that we used to make our meads, melomels and metheglins. It was here that we had many a bonfires and where enchanted by Ravinwolf on a rising moon. It is here that our children were born. This place was the incubus for a many incredible inspirations and progenitors. As I write, I reminisce the bold beginnings and the daily adventures. I also remind myself of the tumults and tragedies. So much a part of our life, this place will always be remembered. And though we move on, the adventure continues, we grow, we live and our Majikal journey, guided by the light of Light leads us forward to new realms.
Wow ! Finally ! brushed off and polished up ! And with many ‘Thanks’ to George Guy of Warp Graphics and Morgan Kay of Alchemycs for moving this forward. I’ll keep you posted on what’s happening in the Adytum and our Coming Soon, Wine Club. Cheers ! for now, Vince
